We had an excellent start to the year with a number of workshops, taster events and VTS trainings happening during the month. Andy came out of hibernation from his month away in the Scottish highlands to a whole host of sessions Sensory Acuity tonality game

  • Getting the Right Balance Tasters – We held evening taster events in Colchester, London and Watford for nearly 50 people, a whole mix from GPs to Practice Managers, Nurses, Physiotherapists and community support workers.
  • VTS Training – We held half day sessions at Mid Essex @ Broomfield hospital and two at Welwyn Garden City @ QE2 Hospital plus a whole day residential course in Horsham for the West Sussex Deanery with nearly 120 newly qualified Year 1/2 and Year 3 GPs amongst those sessions many of whom were just a week or two away from their consultation exams and really appreciated some of the tools we had to offer.
  • We’ve also got some excellent day workshop sessions planned, with the first of these in London on the 9th February see NLP in the Healthcare Setting – feeling on top of your world for details.

The rain and snow might have interrupted a few of the sessions this month and at the same time it gave us an excellent opportunity to get on with the planning of our NLP Practitioner for healthcare professionals course, which we’ve also now planned as two options either; in 3 x 2 day weekend modules or, as 2 x 3 day weekday modules. Next month, well you’ll have to come along and find out. We’ll leave you with a testimonial from our day VTS in sussex

Dear Jo and Andy, It was a pleasure to meet you both yesterday. Thank you both very much for your NLP presentation at our VTS residential. In a fun way you gave them some tools for their communication skills box. Feedback was excellent and today lots of the trainee had specific skills they were going to go back to their surgeries to try out. Thank you very much. We all had a great day! – Mandy Claiden, Programme Director, West Sussex
