Do people see you as calm and confident yet inside you feel anxious or nervous or that little voice of self doubt just won't be quiet? Do people often tell you "gosh you are always so in control!" yet your brain feels like it is running on overload and you are paddling like mad just to keep your head above water? Where will you focus your energy today? Will you focus on that one thing that will make a difference to you or your business or continue to spread your energy too thinly? Will you continue to hit your head against the brick wall of all the things you can't change or concentrate your energy on the things you can? Will you recognise what you have achieved or look at the things you haven't? Will you focus on what you have learnt from the dropped ball or just on the ball? Will you spend that moment to reconnect with why you do what you do?
Communicating is something that we do constantly even when we don't mean to! We communicate verbally and non-verbally. I'm sure you recognise that sometimes you communicate well and other times it can be a disaster? How many times have you heard people complain about communication whether it be within the organisation or a personal relationship? How many times have you hit your head against the brick wall of frustration that your message is not getting across?
